Salvador Macías (1977) graduated in architecture from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente, ITESO 2001. He holds a Master’s degree in Project Theory and Practice from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and is a member of the National Academy of Architecture in Guadalajara. Since 2003, he has been a professor of project workshop at the ITESO in Guadalajara.
Magui Peredo (1979) graduated in architecture from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente, ITESO 2003. She holds a Master’s degree in Theory and History of Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and is a member of the National Academy of Architecture in Guadalajara. Since 2010, he has been teaching project workshop at the ITESO in Guadalajara.
In 2014, they received the Emerging Voices award from the Architectural League of New York. They exhibited their work in 2015 at LIGA, Space of Architecture and in 2018 they were selected by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) College of Architecture in Chicago for the ‘Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize’ as finalists in the MCHAP Emerge category in 2018. They participated in the Mexico Pavilion at the 2018 and 2020 Venice Architecture Biennale and were finalists in the Panorama of Works of the XI Ibero-American Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism.
