Seventh Edition 2019-2020
Christian Wassmann (1974) opened his studio in 2005 in New York. Today’s projects range from spaces for nonprofit arts institutions, to pavilions, commercial galleries, objects, and private houses. The firm’s clients include Asia Art Archive, BHWF/Robert Wilson, Freitag, Jewish Museum, Lisson Gallery, Queens Museum, Supreme, treeASFOUR, and Zurich Tourism. The Sun Path House was chosen as one of the buildings of the year by Dezeen, Wallpaper* and WIRED. The Studio won the 2012 AIA NY New Practices Award and the 2010 Swiss Art Award. Christian Wassmann’s design objects are represented by R&Company and exhibited around the world. His first monograph and manifesto was published by Koenig Books in 2017
