Born in 1965, he graduated from theEscuela de Arquitectura del Vallés (ETSAV-UPC) in Barcelona in 1992, and taught at that same university until 2005. He has been Head of Teaching and Architecture as well as Professor/Coordinator of Projects and Drawing I-II from 2005 to 2011 and of Projects and Urbanism from 2011 up to this day at the Escuela de Arquitectura de Reus (ETSAReus-URV).

From 2009 to 2012 he has been member of the Governing Board and professor of the BIArch-Barcelona Institute of Architecture, and currently gives lectures in international institutes and universities. Established since 1993 as an independent professional, he won several national and international awards including the Young Architects of Catalonia Award in 1996, and most recently the Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo in 2012, the Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo, the FAD Awards and the Social Housing of Catalunya in 2013, the National Award of Architeture of Brick-Hispalyt in 2014.

In 2001 he was nominated for the Premio Internazionale Francesco Borromini and in 2006 he was a finalist of the 4th Europe Biennial of Landscape. His work has been published in specialized magazines, in Spain and abroad, and recently presented at the SAM (Swiss Architecture Museum) in Basel (2013) and at the 14th Biennial of Venice (2014).
