Fourth Edition 2013-2014
MAP Studio is an architectural agency founded in Venice in 2004 by Francesco Magnani (1971) and Traudy Pelzel (1967). MAP Studio deals with architecture and town planning projects, feasibility study, restoration of existing buildings, taking on public and private commissions and participating in national and international architectural competitions. MAP Studio´s projects were awarded mentions and prizes and have been published in international architectural magazines.
MAP Studio’s most important project, the Restoration of Porta Nuova Tower at Venice Arsenale, has been awarded the Pietro Torta Award 2011 and the Piranesi Honorable Mention 2011. In the 2013 the work was nominee at the Mies van der Rohe Award. MAP Studio´s projects were displayed at the exhibition promoted by Wonderland – Platform For European Architecture held in Venice, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Wien, St. Veit an der Glan, Brno, Barcelona, Firenze and Bratislava.
