Fourth Edition 2013-2014
Born in 1965 in Wasserlos, Bavaria (Germany); graduated from the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt in 1992, when he started working. In 1996 he moved to Cologne. Since 2003 he is Chair for Architecture and Urban Research at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, leading the “a42.org” master program.
In 2006 he moved to Berlin, where in 2008 he set up Akademie c/o, an open seminar about the spatial production of the Berlin Republic with Silvan Linden and Christian Posthofen. In 2009 the “a42.org” master program was trasformed into a nomadic program: Akademie c/o Architektur- und Stadtforschung.
