Eric Höweler (1972), AIA, LEED AP is an Assistant Professor in Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and the author of Skyscraper: Vertical Now. He received a B.A. and a M.A. from Cornell University.
J. Meejin Yoon (1972), AIA, FAAR is an Associate Professor with tenure and the Director of the Undergraduate Program in the Department of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is the recipient of the MIT Irwin Sizer Award in 2013, the United States Artist Award in Architecture and Design in 2008, the Athena RISD Emerging Designer Award in 2008, and the Rome Prize in Design in 2005. Yoon received a B.A. from Cornell University, and a M.A. in Urban Design with Distinction from Harvard University in 1997.
Höweler + Yoon Architecture is an interdisciplinary design practice working across scales: from architecture and urban design to public space and interactive environments. Their practice has received the Architecture Review Award in 2014, the Audi Urban Future Award in 2012, and the Architecture League’s Emerging Voices Award and Architectural Record’s Design Vanguard in 2007. Their work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the Institut Valencià d’Art Modern, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and the National Art Center in Tokyo, Japan.
