Gained a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale and an M.Arch. from Harvard. A founding partner of OMA-New York (Office for Metropolitan Architecture), he was its director until he established the REX office. Prince-Ramus was partner in charge of the Guggenheim-Hermitage Museum in Las Vegas and the Seattle Central Library, which in 2005 received the highest award of the American Institute of Architects. He is a member of the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Brain Trust and has been visiting professor at Yale School of Architecture and the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
