Second Edition 2009-2010
The URBANUS studio, based in Beijing and Shenzhen, was founded in 1999 by Liu Xiaodu, Meng Yan and Wang Hui.
Liu Xiaodu
Liu Xiaodu gained a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Tsinghua University and a Master’s in Architecture from Miami University. He has worked in the US and has taught at Tsinghua University.
Meng Yan
Meng Yan gained a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Tsinghua University and a Master’s in Architecture from Miami University. He has worked at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and Meltzer/Mandl in New York. He has been a visiting critic at Tongji University, Hong Kong University and Hong Kong Chinese University.
Wang Hui
Wang Hui received his Bachelor’s in Architecture from Tsinghua University and a Master’s in Architecture from Miami University. He has worked at Gruzen Samton Architects and Gensler and Gary Edward Handel + Associates in New York.
