Ha conseguito il Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy alla Yale University e il Master of Architecture alla Harvard University. Partner fondatore di OMA-New York (Office for Metropolitan Architecture), ne è stato il direttore sino alla creazione dello studio REX. Prince – Ramus è stato partner in charge del Guggenheim-Hermitage Museum a Las Vegas e della Seattle Central Library, premiata nel 2005 con il massimo riconoscimento dell’American Institute of Architects. È membro del TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Brain Trust ed è stato visiting professor alla Yale School of Architecture e alla Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation della Columbia University.
