Born in 1963, studied at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid, lives and works in Quito, Ecuador. Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Arts of the Catholic University of Ecuador, he received numerous prizes, among which the National Award for Architectural Design at the XV Bienal Panamericana de Arquitectura (Quito, 2006) and the Award for the best work of young architects at the VI Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (Lisbon, 2008).
