Third Edition 2011-2012
Born in 1961 in London and educated at Kingston School of Architecture, Surrey before apprenticing at practices in Rome and later to London where he established his own practice in 1991. He has taught throughout the UK and Europe, most notably at the University of Bath, the Architectural Association, and the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen where he was made a full professor. From 2007 to 2009 he was guest professor at the Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio.
