Yoshiharu Tsukamoto (1965) was born in Kanagawa. Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1987 where he earned his PhD in 1994. In 1987-1988 he frequented the Ecole d’Architecture de Paris Belleville. In 1992 founded in Tokyo Atelier Bow-Wow, together with Momoyo Kaijima. In 2000 he was nominated associate professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, in 2007 and 2008 visiting associate professor at UCLA, in 2011 visiting professor at the Barcelona Institute of Architecture and in 2011-2012 visiting professor at the School of Architecture of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

Momoyo Kaijima (1969) was born in Tokyo. Graduated and post-graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1994 and 1999. In 1996-1997 she frequented the ETH Zurich. In 2000 she became an Assistant Professor and in 2009 an Associate Professor at the Art and Design School of the Tsukuba University. In 2005-2007 she was guest professor at the ETH Zurich, 2011-2012 visiting professor at the School of Architecture of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
