Second Edition 2009-2010
Graduated in 1994 from the Department of Architecture of the Engineering Faculty of Tokyo University, in 2000 he founded Sou Fujimoto Architects in Tokyo. Taught at the University of Tokyo (2004) and still teaches at the Tokyo University of Science and the Showa Women’s University of Kyoto. His works include the Children’s Centre for Psychiatric Rehabilitation in Hokkaido (2006), which won the AR-Architectural Review Award Grand Prize (2006) and the Japanese Institute of Architecture Grand Prize (2008), while his Final Wooden House received the Design Award presented by the magazine “Wallpaper” for the best home design (2009).
