Gustav Düsing (1984, Münster, Germany) studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and the Architectural Association in London and is a registered architect in Berlin. He has participated in numerous art and architecture exhibitions including the first ever Antarctic Biennale (2017). His work has been awarded the 2023 German Architecture Prize, the 2024 DAM Award, the 2020 Rome Prize for Architecture and in 2020-2021 he was an Artist in Residence at the German Academy in Rome, Villa Massimo. Gustav Düsing, alongside Max Hacke, were the 2024 recipients of the EUmies Award. Since 2015 he has taught at various Universities including the TU Braunschweig, Università Roma Tre and Cornell AAP – College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. In 2024 he was appointed Guest Professor at the UDK – Universität der Künste, Berlin.
