Sixth Edition 2017-2018
Born in 1972, she graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City) and earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture, Criticism and Project from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona). She took part in the 16th Venice Biennale Architettura 2018 with the installation Stand Ground. In 2017 she was recognised with the Moira Gemmill Prize awarded by “The Architectural Review” in London and selected by the Rockefeller Foundation and the Jumex Foundation for Contemporary Art as ‘artist in residence’ at the Bellagio Centre, Como (Italy). In 2016, she was nominated for the Schelling Architecture Prize and was winner of the Emerging Voices Award granted by The Architectural League of New York. She has given lectures, courses and seminars at prestigious universities, such as Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and Cornell University.
