Marianne Burkhalter

Marianne Burkhalter has practiced as an architect in Florence (Superstudio), New York and Los Angeles (Studio Works), and has been an auditor at the University of Princeton. She has been visiting professor at SCI-ARC in Los Angeles, the EPFL-Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and Mendrisio Academy of architecture – USI, where she has been full professor until 2018. With Christian Sumi she founded in 1984 an architectural practice in Zurich, which acquired an international reputation.
