He studied Architecture in Vienna and Paris and he is a cabinet maker. He has lectured and conducted research in Geneva, Paris, Milan and Zurich. He has curated and designed numerous exhibitions. Since 1998 he has been director of the “Architektur im Ringturm” gallery in Vienna, in the context of which he investigated with particular attention the architecture of Central and Eastern Europe. He is the author of essays and studies on Modern architecture. He has been visiting professor at the University of Linz and Graz (Austria), at the Mendrisio Academy of architecture – USI and at the PhD School of the Università Iuav in Venice.
