Born in Bergamo in 1959, he graduated from Milan Polytechnic. He has participated in various awards in France and Switzerland. In 1998 he won the ADI Compasso d’Oro with the chair laleggera, designed for Alias. Since 2003 he has been a teacher at the Accademia di architettura dell’Università della Svizzera italiana, Mendrisio, becoming in 2013 titular professor and dean in 2017. Since 2006 he teaches also at the University of San Marino and the Internal Superior Institute of Indoor Architecture.
